Digital:Convergence Corporation Names Jay Feldman Executive Vice President, Media
Dallas, TX, Oct. 6, 2000 — Digital:Convergence Corporation, a privately held Internet technology company headquartered in Dallas, today announced the appointment of Jay Feldman to the position of executive vice president, media group. In this role, Feldman manages the implementation of the company's technology across a multitude of media platforms including broadcast and cable networks, local television stations and new media.
Feldman joins Digital:Convergence after more than 25 years in both the business and creative side of the entertainment industry. Most recently, he was with the Travel Channel, as executive vice president and general manager. He managed all programming, marketing, business development and operations. In addition, Feldman has held key positions at Lorimar-Telepictures as executive producer and senior vice president, of first-run television. Prior to Lorimar-Telepictures, Feldman was a vice president and general manager, news director and consultant at CBS Television.
