Names Kimberly Weitzel-Kempton, Vice President, Media
Dallas, TX, Oct. 6, 2000 — Digital:Convergence Corporation, a privately held Internet technology company headquartered in Dallas, today announced the appointment of Kimberly Weitzel-Kempton to the position of vice president, media. Weitzel-Kempton, is based in the company's New York office and is responsible for developing relationships with media clients who license Digital:Convergence's technology, including cable channels and local television stations across the country.
Weitzel-Kempton joins Digital:Convergence after several years of broadcast network experience with ABC Television Network, where she served most recently as executive director, affiliate operations and new media. In this role, she oversaw distribution throughout ABC affiliated stations, investigated new business opportunities presented by emerging technologies and implemented new operational systems and procedures including the maintenance of the A-Net communication system which provides ABC affiliates with programming, marketing and sales information on demand.
